It looks like daddy has finally turned the corner. Praise God. This week was a busy one for him. On Sunday he got a "peg" line for feeding. Monday they put a pic line in his upper left arm and he got a tracheostomy on Tuesday. Wednesday he was transferred to CMC-Mercy Specialty Hospital. He looked pretty bad when we got there on Wednesday night. He was exhausted from the ambulance ride from Monroe to Charlotte. He was looking a lot better on Thursday, though. He was still pretty sleepy, though. His level of care is so much better at this hospital!

Since I did not hear back from the job interview, I decided to drive back home Thursday night. I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! Friday, JD and i spent most of the day running errands to get stuff ready for his trip on Saturday.

Becky said daddy rested good on Friday and that he got a new air mattress for his bed. I sure would like to have one of those.

Today, we went to ILM to pick up the rental car for JD to drive to Chattanooga. He got left a little around 11:00 a.m. and got there about 9:30 p.m. It sure is quiet here.

I'm planning to go back to Monroe on Monday morning to take mama to the doctor, and hopefully be able to get around to seeing some rental properties.
