I've been fighting rheumatoid tendenitis for over a year now. Dr. Pennington today (the cute orthopaedic surgeon I was talking about) suggested a hard cast for two weeks. He said this would help the inflamed tendon over the fifth metacarpal and also the ECU tendon.
