I guess it's time to get serious about this condition called Diabetes.Today, my a1c was 11.5! WHAT??????????
Dr. Lucas didn't lecture me about that; but he probably should have. I know I have not been taking care of myself like I should. There's a lot going on in my life right now and unfortunately, I have been putting everyone's needs ahead of my own.
So, if anyone sees me eating something, please make sure I give myself an injection! He has added 1000 mg of metformin to my regimen along with Nortriptyline for peripheral neuropathy.
