Today, I finished the "corner to corner" blanket I have been working on.  I will always remember the date (July 21, 2013) I started working on this blanket, because I started this project when I could not sleep for worrying about my 2½ month old granddaughter.  She was in the ER with a brain injury after an accident.  I do love this pattern.  You can work on a project using this pattern without having to follow it line by line.  Just keep going and change color whenever you feel the urge.  In this project, my color changes came as I came to the end of one skien.  This blanket has 21 skiens of #6 chunky yarn and is very heavy.  Praise God, Ada is fine and was released from the hospital the next day =)
