Today is Aunt Ruby Kiker's birthday. Unfortunately, her earthly family can't be with her to celebrate. The good news is that she is in heaven with our Lord! I miss you Aunt Ruby, but praise God you are not in pain any longer and your suffering is over.
Today was a very good day at work. Chris brought coffee from the Java Hut in Nairobi, Kenya. I can't wait to wrap my taste buds around that. i had a very productive day at work today. I enjoy having projects to work on, even if they are time sensitive. Thank you Lord, for my job and my friends at work.
Daddy didn't get to come home from the hospital today. His kidneys are not functioning since the surgery. Possibly his renal system is just slow in waking up from the anesthesia, or maybe the fact that he stopped taking his medication before the surgery might have something to do with it. But at least he is able to eat. I hope you get to come home soon, Daddy.
Today at work there was a 2/1 apt advertised in Fleetwood. I knew it would be a perfect fit. All utilities are included; and it would cut my commute to Boone in half! But just as I knew would happen, mini-van doesn't think it would be a good move. Because it's a basement apartment, he's afraid the owners of the home would be able to see him in his underwear! I'm not really surprised, though. Every idea I have is a bad idea in his opinion.
Goodnight!
